How to turn a PDF into a Word Document easily and quickly

When disseminating papers, PDFs are frequently used to ensure that everyone sees them the same manner. They can be tough to edit because of the way they’re designed. You might want to convert your PDF to a Word document so you can more easily edit the text.

Using Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC, convert a PDF to a Word document

Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC, both from Adobe, make it simple to convert PDF files to Word documents. The bad news is that it isn’t without cost.

Acrobat DC is available in two versions: a basic version (Windows only) for $12.99 per month and a pro version (Windows and Mac) for $14.99 per month. Both of these things necessitate a yearly commitment. If you only need to convert a PDF to Word format once in a while, this is probably overkill. However, if you already have Acrobat DC, you should convert your PDFs with it.

Acrobat Reader DC, on the other hand, is free to download, but you’ll have to pay $1.99 a month to convert PDFs to other formats like Word. If you need to convert PDFs to Word documents on a regular basis, the charge is probably worth it because Acrobat is the most reliable way to do so, as it maintains formatting rather well.

In this example, we’ll use the full version of Acrobat DC to make the conversion. The procedure is nearly identical if you’re using Acrobat Reader DC. You simply won’t be able to convert to as many different formats. Both, however, support Word.

To begin, open the PDF in Acrobat. Click the “Export PDF” command on the right side of the window.
